Although a nominal entrance fee was implemented a few years ago to assist with raising dollars for zoo improvements, Tom and Penny Harenburg, longtime supporters of the zoo, have made a generous donation to cover all entrance costs for the entire year. This means there will be NO CHARGE for any person wishing to come to the zoo this season.
The zoo is currently open Monday-Friday from 10-2pm (winter hours).
On May 24th the zoo will open full-time and be open from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm daily. The zoo closes for the fall season on Sunday September 28th, 2025.
