Outreach Programs
Menominee Park Zoo’s offsite programs will be available Monday-Friday. October –May start times from 8a.m.-1p.m. Scheduling based upon staff availability.
- We require 2 weeks advanced notice for program booking.
- Program content will vary based upon age group.
- We will travel up to 60 miles from the Menominee Park Zoo

PROGRAMS
ZOO STORYTIME + CRAFT
We will read one or two animal/zoo themed books together. Select up to 2 of our ambassador animals to join story time. We will introduce our animals after the story.
ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS
We will learn about the physical and behavioral adaptations of animals-What are adaptations and how do they help animals survive? Pick up to two of our ambassador animals to join us and we will take a deeper look into the adaptations that they have specifically.
DIETS
We will dive into what, why, and how different animals eat! Pick up to two of our ambassador animals to join us and learn about their specific nutritional needs and what they eat on a daily basis at the zoo!
Program content will vary based upon age group.
CONSERVATION
What is conservation? How do Zoos contribute to conservation efforts? What can YOU do?! Pick up to 2 ambassador animals to join us as we talk about the importance of conservation efforts.
ENRICHMENT
What is enrichment? Why is it important? We will learn about all things animal enrichment-and see how animals interact with it. Pick up to two ambassador animals to join us and see how they use enrichment items.
During this program there will be an age-appropriate hands-on enrichment making activity.
