Conservation Carnival 2010

Energetic volunteers needed to help with the 3rd Annual Conservation Carnival hosted by the Oshkosh Zoological Society at the Menominee Park Zoo. Conservation Carnival is a free event to increase the public's awareness of the Oshkosh Zoological Society, a non-profit group whose mission is to promote the zoo and help provide a meaningful educational and recreational experience for the zoo's visitors. This year's Conservation Carnival will occur on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday August 8, from 10am-4pm. Volunteers are needed to assist children at craft and activity tables, give goodie bags to visitors and help clean up existing gardens and plant trees on the zoo grounds. Volunteers with interests in rain barrels, composting and native plant gardening are encouraged to contact us.
